Dyslexia screening for student in Grades K-2-
For the 2022-23 school year, Indiana’s public and charter schools must meet added requirements to identify, as early as possible, struggling readers who show risk factors for dyslexia and then provide systematic, sequential, and multisensory instruction to meet their needs. All students in grades kindergarten through second grade are given a universal screener to check their skills in six different areas. Students in grades 1-2 have completed the required dyslexia screening. By the end of this week all grade 1-2 students will have received a letter. Kindergarten screenings will be conducted at the end of next month. Please be watching for your child’s letter and contact your child’s teacher if you have any questions.

Traffic Reminders-
Please remember to be good neighbors as you are waiting in the car rider line. Please do not use our neighbors driveways to turn around. Approaching from the Riverside neighborhood will help you get into the car rider line without having to turn around. Also, please refrain from blocking our neighbors’ driveways. If you do find yourself in the position of blocking a drive, please be kind and move if needed. The speed limit is 20 MPH in the neighborhoods. Please keep our children safe by adhering to the speed limits.
