This week is Read Across America week. We will have buddy class reading and some other fun activities highlighting the importance of reading. Something you can do at home to strengthen reading skills is the 21 Day Read Aloud Challenge. Reading aloud helps your child by helping them be exposed to vocabulary they might not otherwise use or hear. Check out this website for more information and reasons to read aloud to your child every day.
