This is our last FULL week of the school year. Please check your students’ powerschool for possible missing assignment grades. Our final student day is Thursday, May 26.
Registration
We are planning for the upcoming school year so please register your student as soon as possible. We would like all returning students to be registered before we leave for summer break. Snapcodes were mailed from the Administration Building during spring break. Registration opened on 4/4. Our enrollment determines the number of teachers we are staffed with, therefore it is super important to get all our students registered. If you have not registered your student, please do so ASAP. If your child will not be returning to RES next school year, please notify the front office.
Field Day, Friday, May 20
Students in grades 3-5 will have their field day from 9:15-11:15. Students in grades K-2 will have their field day from 12:30-2:30. Please be sure to put sunscreen on your child before they come to school. Students should dress for hot weather and wear tennis shoes. Send them with an extra pair of clothes also because there will be some games that might get them wet! A beach towel just in case is also a good idea. A big thanks to Mr. Houston for arranging the field day games and to our parent volunteers arranged by the PTO.
ATTENTION CAR RIDER PARENTS
Please help us be good neighbors by adhering to the 20 MPH speed limit in the neighborhood and observing all stop signs. Also, please make every effort to NOT block our neighbors’ driveways. As you are sitting in line, leave enough room that you could adjust to allow a neighbor to enter their property. Please treat each other with kindness as we would expect our students to treat others. Please pass this information on to your caregivers who may be picking up your child as a car rider. Thank you!
PTO
PTO will be hosting a restaurant night at Rapid Fire Pizza on Tuesday, May 17 from 10:30am to 10pm on Veteran’s Parkway. 25% of your order total will come back to support our PTO. Please take the flyer sent home last week with you or you can show the flyer from the PTO Facebook page.
